For those of you interested in paddling at sea, do check out the Hobie Mirage. While it is a sit on top, oh stop groaning, it is a kayak and for some one who has lost an arm or injured a shoulder it is a Godsend! It took 2nd place at the Hartland Hydro Fest regatta out of some 15 boats to finish. FYI The Mirage is a lot more stable than a Wave Bike and I often take a Camera along with no fear. Also it has a built in cooler that will feed 4 people and stay cold all day long in the Florida heat. The Hydro-Sail mechanism is also unique, in that with every stroke it changes in draft from 3 to 16 and back. You can easily power though 4 of thin water try that in any other peddle craft. Dont knock it until you have tried it. PS I am really a paddler who happens to sell Hobies.
