Actually, come Friday afternoon, it's looking like we'll be getting some serious wind surfing and surfing-surfing brought on by Hurricane Debbie. How fast can a windsurfer go in 105 mph winds??? cya *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
We'll be breaking out the boards and the Hobies early Friday looks like. I figure a couple / three hours of some serious fun (ever pull a skier behind a Hobie? It's way cool), a few highly sarcastic remarks from Marine Patrol, and home we go! When I was catching up on email last week I noticed a message from someone that the current schedule wasn't posted on the website, gopaddle.org. After doing research I thought I'd let everyone know it is there - click on Paddling Events, West Coast Sea kayak Symposium, scroll down to Web Sites and schedules, click, and you will see the link to the PDF file which contains the complete schedule. Is there going to be a gathering of Paddlewise people this year as there was last year? Was not there a month ago (or thereabouts). I am the guy who made the plea. The "Web Sites, Schedules, etc." hot link on the site you reference was not there, then. A couple weeks or so ago I was sent the PDF file, *in incomplete form,* although the TAPS site has it in a complete version, finally. Despite my difficulty obtaining the schedule, I am pumped -- looks like a lot of interesting stuff, inasmuch as we have never gone. > Is there going to be a gathering of Paddlewise people this year as there > was last year?
