G'day, as well. The other day a friend and I were paddling down the southern end of the bay and came across a shark basking in the shallows. It was in the middle of the day, the light and water clarity were good. We could see it ahead of us clearly visible above a sea grass bed. We stopped paddling and drifted up to it. My mate slid his hand down into the water quietly, behind the shark, and quickly grabbed it by the tail. A sudden jerk, and the shark was out of the water and across the front deck of his boat! This seemed impressive, and when another shark appeared in the shallows, I did the same myself! Now, I should explain that these were banjo sharks, or fiddler rays, small wonderfully decorated and camouflaged animals shaped, well, like banjos. Or maybe squash racquets....hmmm. I picked up a sea urchin and batted it across to my friend with the shark. With a reflexive bracing stroke he batted it back! Andre Agassi eat your heart out. I served the urchin back, and the game began... When the sharks seemed to be gasping for water, we put them back in, and paddled on. My friend won 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. You don't believe this? Well I swear it's (partly) true! Come for a paddle here and I'll take you to the very spot. But, bring a light plastic ball. The urchins only last 3 games at most.
