Hi folks. It's a sad day today, I just recieved news that one of Norways best known sea kayakers is found dead on some beach near or at Lake Melville in Canada. Roy Willy Johansen, was found dead after trying to paddle from Greenland to Labrador. To read more go to http://www.vinland2000.com/vineng.htm Does anyone know more about his escapades? Do tell. Second, I want to share this poem I heard somewhere. I'm not sure about the author, if you know, share! For I am the captain of my craft My word is law from fore to aft I am the cook and the steward too I am the passenger and crew And though it's said I'm hard to please I'm not afraid of mutinies My only compliment at sea I am as happy as can be ( I'm not sure about that last line!)
