It has a blue foam rubber cover and the pages are, at least, water resistant. I still keep in a zip lock bag but it's good for taking notes on the water but I'm mostly using it as a log. For BCU certification one of the requirements is to present a log book describing some trips or instruction. Does anyone know where I can an "official" BCU log so I know exactly what to put in mine? *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
