Actually, you would be surprised how cold 86 degree water can feel when you
are totally immersed for 50 minutes. I always wear a full Polartec and a
Polartec hood. Below 78 I use a 1/4 inch suit and when it gets into the low
70s I use a 6mm suit and hood. When it's below 70, I watch.
