Stainless seems to be the preferred method. Personally, I'm having pretty good luck with 600-lb spectra kite line. The good part about stainless is that rub wear isn't a consideration as it is with the spectra. The bad part is that loose ends and/or broken strands can inflict ugly cuts when you're groping around in the water. ----------------------- Pete Cresswell *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Sun Oct 15 2000 - 18:46:07 PDT
