[Paddlewise] Paddling with whales debate

Hi Folks,

Regarding the topic of paddling with whales, please keep it on topic
and resist the name calling.  I think we can debate this issue with
respect to others' positions.  It is a good topic for the list and
would be a shame to have to end it prematurely due to off-topic
discussion or flaming.  Regardless of where you stand on the issue,
it is important that paddlers be educated and at least be informed 
of the laws and their purpose, and consequences for violating those 
laws.
