I have used the backpacker oven for years. I don't find the oven that great, when you bake cakes or cinnamon rolls the bottom often gets over done and the top remain soft or doughy. The temperature gauge on the top never has worked. But on the other side it is great for baking small roasts, etc. I did have an optimus oven before, it looks something like a bundt pan and baked things evenly on the top and bottom. I would probably still be using it if I hadn't have lost it.
