Another place for spatial disorientation, at least for me, is welding metal (typically oxy-fuel or arc(stick) welding). Very intense visual focus and concentration on moving the torch or arc correctly with limited visibility (darkened glass to protect the eyes from the intense light). I freqently have sensations that the ground is tilting, legs moving, etc. while welding. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Nov 08 2000 - 11:13:19 PST
