Robb, Definitely check out <sweetwaterkayaks.com>. I was there a couple of weeks ago and can assure you they'll set you up with anything you need. They're just south of Tampa in Tierra Verde. I tagged along on an easy float in a park called Wurden (sp?). It has a canoe/kayak trail through the mangroves. Another day we traveled north and paddled up the Weeky Watchee (sp?) river with the manatees. Awesome. (I didn't pet them, I swear!)
