How much foot space does a person need? I am working on designing a kayak
and haven't kayaked enough to know from experience. I am confused by what
appears not to be enough room to have my foot point straight up in many
designs. (Not that I would hold it that way, just room to turn my
foot/change placement/entry and exit...) If my foot is 10" long, how much
vertical space do I need? Or rather, how long is your foot and how much
vertical space do you have in your 'foot well'? While you are at it, how
much vertical room do you have at your knees?
