Cow Patty Pageant to be held Sunday, February 4! The Cow Patty Pageant, a kayak and canoe race and paddle will be held Sunday February 4, 2001. This 12-mile tidewater race/paddle includes all paddlecraft classes. Entry fee is $12 general, ACA members $8. Those appearing in COWSTUMES will be honored and revered! Paddler's meeting at 9:00 AM Estero Americano (directions below). Note: there is no drinking water at the site. There will be a portable toilet. Leash laws apply (sheep country) to dogs and unruly competitors. Rain or shine (lightning and/or violent weather cancel.) Race director's decisions, however arbirarty, are final. No refunds. Fees pay for insurance and expenses. Join the herd, and pass the word! No-host pasta feast after the race at approximately 2:00 PM.
