Wayne's suggestion of a back band is a good one. I replaced the seat back
on my Sea Lion (too high, not all that comfortable, comes unfixed during
re-entries) with a Pryanha WW backband. Much better. If you really like
the shape of the seat back, you might think about gluing a layer of closed
cell foam on it, say 1/4", and then perhaps some nylon-faced neoprene over
the foam. I suggest this partly because of the seat back pads that used
to come with the Sea Lion, which were very insecure, and which I removed
immediately.
