This may be a no brainer for those of us who own sit on tops, but the twisted cable (covered in vinyl) bicycle security chain works like a champ for me. I just slip it through one of the drainage holes and wrap it around my rack. One of my kayaks is stored on a covered porch and I just loop it through the railing on the porch. I also found my clip on red lights at a bicycle shop and I just clip them onto the front or back toggle handle for night paddling.
