I really like the finger-less NRS paddling gloves. I think they are around $15 US. They are basically the same thing as biking gloves, but designed for kayaking. I use gloves off and on in warm weather. Basically, my hands will say, this blisters hurts wear gloves, then I do. I haven't noticed a difference in performance. Strangely, I feel like I have a more powerful grip when I wear neo gloves in the winter.
