To all you people that sleep under tarps, I envy you. You probably don't camp in areas where there are bugs and mosquitoes around. There is nothing worse at night when you are sleeping and you hear a mosquito by your face. One would swear there is a 747 coming through your tent walls. Tarps maybe nice for the rain, but give me a tent any day....... Being under one, reduces your heat loss while you are hanging around in the evening. And if you have a candle burning for light, its little bit of warmth stays with you under the tarp. You can feel an enormous difference in temperature if you are sitting under the tarp and then step out from under it. Has got to be 15 degrees warmer under one unless the wind is howling and wind chill factor takes over. ralph diaz -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ralph Diaz . . .
