I thought I had posted this earlier for all that has been requesting an
address for

the hospital.

Greetings All,

For those of you that called or e-mailed here is the info below.

Larry Koenig, RM.. 4405

In care of;

Tallahassee Memorial Medical Center

1300 Miccosukee RD

Tallahassee, FL 32308

Larry is in I.C.U., so he can not have flowers at this time till he is

released from I.C.U.. It appears that Larry may be in I.C.U. for possibly

up to a week. So a card may be the best at this time.

We shall keep everyone informed of Larry's condition.

On a personal note, I was extremely impressed at Janell's strength and

calmness at the hospital. Considering the situation, she is doing great, I

am very proud of her. During times of need an inner strength surfaces to

help the people we love.

Thanks for caring,

Arthur

Fernando,

I think most if not all of us would agree with the need of rest after a

paddling trip prior to getting onto the highways as you mentioned above.

This was not the case for Larry, but your point is well taken and

understood.

Without going into a lot of detail concerning Larry's misfortune I'll try to

explain what happened.

Their vehicle ran out of gas. A good Samaritan picked them up to get gas,

Larry had to ride in the back of the truck due size of the truck. Upon

returning to their vehicle with the gas someone ran into them as they were

pulling off the road. Of course many things may have been done differently

but isn't hind sight 20/20 with so many things we do that doesn't work out

for the best.

The foresight Larry did have was to have his wife Janell fly in by plane after
the Sweet Water Kayak

Symposium to with the help drive home so he can rest.

Arthur
