It's a mile or so off of Pillar Point, at Half Moon Bay, not so far from
me in San Jose. I have no ambition to _ever_ be close to waves that big,
tho' I do plan to drive over there and take a look with a telescope from
the land. 50 to 60 feet is not unusual there, from what I hear.
