Nope, Mike, not in this use, but we (speed-) built some plywood boats with 
Sika-flex at the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic CT a few years ago ... for lack 
of SF the prototype was built ahead of time with the 3M goop and those 
results would recommend it at least for trials with ferrules!
