Rev. Bob....."so I took it for granite" .....you are a shameless punster
but I am sure that everyone who had the pleasure of reading that tale
will forgive you...if you promise to come back and tell us another tale
on another day

Shameless indeed. But okay, I'll forgive the good Rev. too. Thanks
again Rev. Bob!

*Melissa raises her hand to ask a question but she forgot what it was
so never mind.

Where I came from, many years ago and in the far cold north, it was bad
tale etiquette to imply any story was not the whole truth and nothing but
the truth. I really did enjoy Rev. Bob's story, but he did open the
door for other stories. Good tale etiquette always requires that a better
story be told. I'm sure with the wealth of experience in the paddlewise
group there must be other stories out there. But as the Ojibway, who I
grew up with would say, all stories must stop at the spring thaw because
the spirits will wake up and they may come to disagree with your telling of
things.
