[Paddlewise] Clothing Advice New England

Hi all!


 I started Kayaking last year with my fiancee and got the bug so we bought
kayaks(Looksha IV and a Squall) at the end of last season and are gearing up
for this season(realizing that for many of you the season never ended or is
already started) and could use some pointers.





We are looking for jackets and wetsuitsand would appreciate any ideas. We
bought sea kayaks and hope to do some trips in Boston Harbor, South Shore Cape
Ann and Maine. We are getting married this August so I don't anticipate any
major trips, probably just day trips and envision going thru October. What mm
wetsuit is reccomended for this area?  Any specific jackets or criteria I
should know about? Gloves?  Many of our outings, especially mid-week will be
on the Charles as we live right next to it.
