I bought a windjammer for my 58"wide bars - the direction say to put one (1)
in the center of the front bar. It worked for me - no more noise.

As an aside, I recently got some Windjammers for my new van, to put on
the 10-inches that stick out the side of the roof rack towers. They are
a foil shaped wing, supposed to lend aerodynamics and cut down wind.
They look kinda cool, but have made no noticeable difference to noise,
etc. (made a difference to my pocket-book, however).
