I recently heard that Malone of Maine is discontinuing their wooden paddle line, including their Greenland-inspired paddle. If you have the time, simple tools and inclination, you might wish to consider making your own Greenland-style paddles. It is a fun and inexpensive project, and the custom-tailored fit will enable your creation to outperform expensive commercial offerings.
