Hi There

I'm new to the list and have been lurking for some time reading the =
posts. Very interesting.=20

Now the question, has anyone done an eskimo roll with HARD contact =
lenses and managed not to lose these? I practised an eskimo roll in my =
kayak in the swimming pool and guess what? Both gone! What devices, =
besides uncomfortable swimming goggles, are available to stop one losing =
one's lenses?

I roll all the time with hard contact lenses. The devices I use are called
eyelids -- I roll with my eyes shut. For practice, however, I often wear a
dive mask, which keeps the water out of the nose as well as the eyes --
especially important in heavily chlorinated pools.
