If you find a suction cup Sid, standard size for a tripod is 1/4-20
thread, a most commonly accessible bolt size.

If you have problems finding the suction cup, inexpensive running lights
for small boats are available with large suction cups with bolts set
though I don't know the thread.  If they are larger or smaller than the
1/4-20, I will turn and tap an aluminum adapter if you want (2 minute
job).
