Received this info below from a friend. Would appreciate any info from people with info concerning any of the comments below. Such as; Is there a map or chart locating any of these platforms? Thanks in advance, Arthur "The area we were in, south of Everglades City, is prime area for canoe and sea kayakers. Meet people on trips camping while we were anchored and motoring in the dingy. The park builds platforms, not connected to land for paddlers to climb on and sleep, complete with portolets. There are also shell beaches people can camp on. But there are restricted areas, marked "NO CAMPING." They look like great spots. Not sure why camping is not allowed." *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
