I was grateful that as many people attended as they did. The beach from the cliffs looked as pretty as usual with all the kayaks and tents, and the water was populated with people demo-ing boats. My women's and currents course had 25 and 40 people in them, great numbers for breakout groups. While some speakers and attendees couldn't make their flights, others filled in. The new instructional program was practically overbooked. The people I spoke with felt that it was fun and one way to try to move forward doing what we love to do.
