I've done a trip report, with pictures, of kayaking the Bowron Lakes Circuit. This is a 70 mile loop with 11 lakes, three rivers and about 6 miles of portages. It can be viewed at: http://silverlink.net/~agunther/bowron Al Gunther, Kingston, WA <---- 47° 48.1'N, 122° 30.0'W *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). Hi Al. Very much enjoyed your trip report -- well done! Also was very intrigued by the report on your paddle around Cypress Island. I kayaked that area about a month ago, and camped overnight on Strawberry Island. Wonderful places! No orcas, but lots of seals and seabirds. I found paddling close to shore and in the kelp to be almost as much fun as playing in the tidal rapids and upwellings at the southwest end of Strawberry. Hope to get back there soon! All the best... merlin At 09:11 AM 10/14/2001 Al Gunther wrote: >I've done a trip report, with pictures, of kayaking the Bowron Lakes >Circuit.
