SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....................that's the reason I left the Midwest for the south. I used to have to go into lizard mode and bask in the garden on the one sunny day out of thirty during the winter months. I once saw a white water boat used as a sled. Could a tandem boat be used as a toboggan? Perhaps use the rudder as an ice brake? I am taking my L1 L2 class in Savannah tomorrow AM. Wish me luck. Water temp in the low 70's. Air similar. Snow is the reason I am preferring to camp out the outer islands of Baltic sea - nothing beats balancing the slippery and wet rocks in the mornings! At least the neprene boots smell less if it gets below zero degrees centigrades... Dark nights and foggy mornings have arrived. Testing my winter sleeping bag tomorrow night. -Ari- *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
