I just wanted to update everyone concerning the repair of my spray skirt. To refresh your memory, I purchased a Wildwasser Nylon Pocket Skirt from a local kayak shop. They picked out the size that I needed and even tried it on the same model boat that I paddle. They said it was fine. The skirt fit ok, but a little loose, from the beginning. As I used it, the rand seemed to be getting looser and I wound up sending it back to Wild Wasser to see if they could fix it for me. They determined that I had the wrong size skirt and asked me how tight I wanted it to fit and also the exact dimensions of my cockpit. They repaired the skirt at no charge to me and made it so that if fits my cockpit extremely well. This was not really their problem. I purchased the wrong size skirt on the advice of one of their dealers, and they thought enough of the end user to make it right without any hassle. It's a pleasure doing business with a company of this caliber. If anybody wants a great skirt, I highly recommend this one. It has a pocket on the deck so that it is usable while you wear your PFD and it also has an implosion bar built in to keep it from popping off when a wave breaks on it. The skirt has done a great job of keeping me dry and will probably work even better now that it is the right size.
