I read the copy to mean that only the upperarms and shoulders are
_breathable_, but the rest is waterproof. Wouldn't be much of a drytop
otherwise. I think they're economizing by not using the expensive
breathable stuff on the torso, since it doesn't breath all that well when
covered up with a PFD. 

My guess is that you can roll with one of these and stay totally, not
kinda, dry. But talk to William on the phone and be sure. He'll tell you
more than you wanted to know about how they make the stuff.
