Has anyone had any experience with the dry top made by Whetstone gear? > > It has all the features I want but the sympatex waterproof / breathable > > material is only on the upperarms and shoulders, so, does the lower part > > soak through? Can you roll with this top and stay kinda dry? Steve - I own a Whetstone dry top and their semi-dry paddling jacket too. The dry top keeps me very, very dry after repeated rolls and I regularly use it here (Minnesota) in the Winter with three fleece layers beneath. Best buy in my view. The semi-dry paddling jacket also keeps one surprisingly dry with its neoprene cuffs and neck and velcro closures. I use it in warmer conditions, though took it to Lake Superior in June for a week-long trip. Kept me very comfortable.
