I have been experimenting with something called WikiWiki. This is a
reader created and edited website that offers the possibility of
being a good repository for knowledge. I've created a wikiwiki
devoted to kayaking at:
http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/guille/wiki.pl

I would appreciate comments from the PaddleWise folks.

I like it a lot Nick.

Now to figure it out- I have a neat project in mind.

Lot's faster than a forum structure.

Excellent idea Nick. I didnīt know that something like this coul'd be
possible. Question ... Is CAOS part of the experiment ? How will you prevent
it ?

Best regards

Chaos is a definite possibility... ...and possibly somewhat
desirable? Since the system does require a little bit of knowledge
and effort to edit and create pages it will hopefully keep away
vandals. And a complete record of previous edits is stored so anyone
can always restore prior versions of any page they liked better. The
system has a certain amount of inertia that might keep chaos in check.

But, frankly I have no idea how it will evolve, but the concept
looked cool and it wasn't going to cost me much to see what happens,
so I figured I would put it out there and await the results.
