OK, it isn't paddling but it is using "paddles" even if they do sit facing 
the wrong way!!!!!

The Ward Evans Atlantic Challenge with was mentioned on this group a little 
while ago.

FIRST - New Zealand after 41 days rowing, unfortunately not quite breaking 
the record.

Second Australia, 3 days later.

Third - Belgium.

4th - New Zealand (51 days)  the womens' team, 4th out of 35 teams. Maybe 
they had an advantage, the boat knew the way having been the winning boat 
last time.

USA????? about 25 days still to go when the women finished.

The USA entrants have been paddlers for years.  So I, for one, appreciate the update.

The USA team finished 11th on Dec 4.  9 days after the New Zealand ladies.  

The winning team was 3 days up on second, 7 days up on third.
