[Paddlewise] Glue on Plastic Boats

Hi all.

Seems like there was some discussion a year or so ago about glue sticking to plastic boats.  I recently contacted Perception's Technical Assistance and asked them which glue to use (if any at all).  They said that any marine contact cement would be fine.  That doesn't jive with my memory of the P'Wise discussion.  Seems like that discussion was centered around most cements not adhering very well to the boats.  Any comments?

My specific application is for adding closed cell foam inside the cockpit, and for adding some "D" rings behind the seat to secure "stuff" and "D" rings inside the hatches to secure partial loads.
