Well, seriously, I never drink and drive at the same time. I didn't make it through the Boca Grande Cut the time I tried. The water was quite choppy and I was in a 12 foot sit-on-top. Under some conditions, when the wind and waves oppose each other, the waves stand up as straight as soldiers. (Someone correct me, if I have this story wrong.) One of the purposes of buying a touring kayak is so I can make it from Pine Island (connected to the mainland) to Cayo Costa. It's a lovely island. I hope some of my friends have enough vacation time saved to paddle over with me soon. Marinell P.S.
