Thanks, didn't think of looking there. I do happen to have Leki Trekking Poles....but don't usually take them in my kayak! When coastal camping, and when permissible, I like to sleep on the sand - the nearest bushes are usually mangroves with vicious skeeters. However, I'll be camping with the Florida Pop-up Campers at Jonathan Dickinson State Park (FL) on Jan 25-27 and we're in the highland grove area. I'll take the HH (and the Lekis) and play around with it. I was delighted to see the photo of the fella in LA who tied off the hammock above water in a bayou, then paddled his "canoe" and climbed into the tent, tying off his boat to the hammock.
