Substitute paddles.  Two half-paddles might be too short, but 
if you have a spare, you're ok.  Driftwood or deadfall could do
as well.

Now that I know that the hammock can be used as a tent, I kinda regret
buying a solo tent before Christmas (good sale price, though).
