Hi Jerry, I'd expect the Romany to have less windage than the Millenium since it's 3 feet shorter... The Mariner II is also a bit shorter than the MIllenium. I like the Mariner II but I prefer the three bulkhead/hatch arrangement of the british style boats (no, I'm not trolling for a long thread here) and I don't think that's an option on a Mariner(?). I also like a lower rear deck for doing some of the Greenland rolls. What I'd really like is a boat that fit me like the PH Sirius _at_ 17ish x 20" but had a bit more maneuverable hull and three VCP hatches. I'm likely headed to Alaska for a longish trip this summer and I'd like something more suited to multiday trips than the Romany.
