I have to emphatically agree with Joan. If something were to happen to my Gulfstream and I could replace it with any boat made and money was NOT a concern, I would still get a CD Gulfstream. The boat is extremely stable in rough water (roughest I've been in was 25 - 30 knot winds with 6 - 10 foot swells). The boat is extremely maneuverable when edged but tracks well. The skeg is great for big following swells or really strong side winds. The only criticism I have for this boat is that it doesn't like to come straight in on a surf landing. If you own one, you will quickly learn how to side surf it in--which it does very easily.
