Since it was a generic request, the only thing I can suggest is that you take your time, pay attention to detail, and ask specific questions if you're not sure about a particular step. I'd also recommend the CLC building forum. While it's true that it's sponsored by Pygmy's primary competitor, it's a forum for people that are building or have built stitch-n-glue boats and the construction techniques are mostly the same. When I built my CLC boat (a Northbay XL) I found a lot of information through that BBS that wasn't in the manual which saved time or potential headaches.
