A couple of tricks for sticky fabrics: You can buy Teflon coated feet if they stick. If such feet are not available for your machine, I understand that some sewing shops can sell you peel-and-stick Teflon pads to put under the foot. If the needle is grabbing the fabric, there are Teflon coated needles on the market. If all else fails, put tissue paper over the fabric and sew through it. When done, tear off the tissue. Facial tissue or toilet paper works.
