Since the airlines have become so unreasonable about letting people carry on essentials like paddles, I am thinking of buying an NRS Paddle Bag, large, $53.95, for airline travel. I thought I could wrap non-essentials, like clothes, around my paddle, tag it as fragile, and check it through. I use a Werner paddle that breaks down. Anybody have an opinion on whether this is a good/bad idea?
