My Seal Line chart case has never leaked, not even during rolls. Size is a matter of personal preference. A bit of advice: If you plan to use any Xeroxed or laser-printed maps, cut a couple pieces of acetate to fit inside, and put the map between the pieces of acetate. Heat-fused inks transfer easily to vinyl, which most map cases are made of, and are hard to remove. Chuck Holst -----Original Message----- Any opinions as to an appropriate size deck chart case for typical day trips? Any brand loyalty? I saw one that was 16 " x 22 " by Seal Line. It would reveal a lot of the chart but seems huge on the deck.
