Or almost gorilla proof. The end cap on our PVC paddle tube
was kindly shattered by the baggage handlers somewhere
between Austin, TX and Boston, MA! The paddles were
fine, but how you shatter 4" PVC is beyond me.

We actually just picked up a new case for our Greenland sticks
from www.Cabelas.com called a Bazuka. It is made for saltwater
fishing rods. It has a nice handle, can be locked and has a
lifetime guarantee. Since it is 6" DIA it might fit some of
the narrower paddles out there.
