Marinell Davis provided me with the following information: "Tell her that the Ivey House B&B is a very nice place to stay. One of the outfitters, a gentleman from New England, was especially helpful. Just tell him that Cyndi, Shirley, and Marinell from Sarasota sent you. Of course, my all time favorite is the Everglades Rod and Gun Club http://www.floridasecrets.com/Bed&Breakfast/SWBeds/Rod.htm >> when we did a Turner River paddle a few weeks ago, we met a fellow who was solo canoeing the Wilderness Waterway. I believe he camped at Collier Seminole State Park, but used the shuttle facilities of Ivey House. I think he said that they were picking him up from Flamingo at the end of his paddle and taking him back to Ivey House for about $200....not at all bad, considering the distance...and the fact that he probably only paid a few dollars for wilderness camping permits. usual disclaimer sandy kramer miami *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
