 The map on the linked page shows portages and lists the length of portage.

I go to Pittsburg, NH fairly often.  The upper reaches of the 
Connecticut River (above Second Connecticut Lake) are shallow and quite 
scratchy.   From the Fourth Conn. (really a deep point in a bog near the 
Canadian border) to the Third Conn. you will spend almost all your time 
pulling your boat.  But the area is beautiful enough to make the walk 
worth it.  Once you are out of Pittsburg the river is wonderfully flat 
through most of its course, rapids are uncommon.  Enjoy your trip, I
