I've been trying to find information of public shorelines in Washington State, and asking the Department of Ecology brought me several links, including this one: http://www.ecy.wa.gov/apps/shore photos/index.html They have photos for every section of (salt-water) shoreline in the state, from the air. This might be useful for 'previewing' a tour, working with a map to get a more visual sense of the area, finding possible landing spots, getting a look at the ecology and vegetation inland. Are there any other states which have online shoreline photography like Washington? Got something to say? Say it better with Yahoo!
