G'Day Sandy,

No I'm dreamin! Really like the idea of being able to walk to the river at
the bottom of my street, carrying a small bag or two, setting up the boat
and paddling down the river through the harbour and out to sea. With no
petrol usage! Trying to emulate Ralph Diaz ideal of minimal use of
hydrocarbon fuels, which I think is why he uses public transport. At the
moment am also looking at the Kahuna to achieve this.

At the moment have two boats Klepper and Pittarak - another boat on the
dream list is a small plastic one for learning how to surf without spending
lots of time with gelcoat to repair the damage! Mind at least one can repair
fiberglass boats - A friend wound up on some oyster covered rocks in a
plastic boat (linear polymer) and now has some sad scratches he wants to
repair - does anyone know how to remove scratches from a linear polymer
plastic boat?

All the best, PeterO
